Plotting/Meet and Greet
Before we got everything started in this whole RP, I thought it'd be best to get everyone acquainted with each other. And for some of us, figure our characters out.
Since only some of us have been able to actually play it, here are some important things to keep in mind regarding KH X (Chi)-verse:
If you don't have a full picture yet, feel free to post the ideas you have so far and add onto them as you go! Brainstorming is fun.
Also because of the nature of KHX (chi), some OCs may be of the self-inserty variety. This is PERFECTLY OKAY, so long as we can all be nice about it - no getting overly defensive of your OCs and no making others feel bad about theirs. This is a just-for-fun musebox, and we're all here to enjoy ourselves.

Since only some of us have been able to actually play it, here are some important things to keep in mind regarding KH X (Chi)-verse:
- Characters seem to be defined much more by which group they do or don't affiliate themselves with, as opposed to use of light/darkness
- As a matter of fact, the whole concept of light and darkness as we know it in the main series seem to be almost an entirely new concept to the people of this world: the heartless appeared - darkness appeared - just recently, and now everyone is scrambling and using these new Keyblades that have also sprung out of nowhere to get these shards of light (called Lux) to fight them off/that the Heartless stole
- On the same note, the system of Masters and Apprentices doesn't seem to exist yet. It's you, your Keyblade, and your faction (called a Union), who are just about as new at Keyblade wielding as you, backing you up. Because of this, being a Keyblade Wielder without belonging to any Union can be difficult and risky.
- Heartless (obviously) are a very prevalent problem, but are also very new to the residents of the world
- The primary form of rivalry between the different Unions seems to be competing to who can get the most Lux; At this point it seems to be a friendly rivalry, seeing as how they're all sharing the same town as a base of operations. This rivalry could erupt into actual conflict in the future, but they're a long, long way from that point as of right now.
- The world is united, but different regions are still far enough apart and different enough to be basically known by the same names that they're known by in the games
- The primary sort of "nexus" area where people of all different regions and Unions and such meet is called Daybreak Town (It's where our introductory mingle log will be)

A bit of history
The five leaders of the different unions were among the first to receive their Keyblades. But more importantly, they were the first ones who decided to try to organize the efforts of all the new Keybearers. That's why they made the Unions - in order to make sure that no Keybearer is ever really alone, especially with all these dangerous new enemies running about.
While they did disagree on some philosophies, the primary reason they decided to divide up into different groups was because it was deemed that there was too much for one group to try to take care of at any one time, and it'd be easier if they could work independently rather than under a committee. This also allowed each leader to run their Union according to their own philosophies, which were different from each other, though not excessively so. This is why the groups are overall friendly - friendly enough to share Daybreak Town as a base of operations.
It's possible that at some point right around "now" timelinewise they'll discover that the rite of succession/passing the power is a thing, though the whole idea of a Keyblade Order won't really happen until late if not after the Keyblade War.
